My Delhi Newcastle Menu

My Delhi Newcastle is an Indian street food restaurant at 87A Clayton Street, close to St James' Park, The Gate and Eldon Square. Its colourful, informal approach is inspired by the food and energy of Delhi, with dishes arranged for sharing around the table.

Street plates include chaat, onion bhaji, Indo-Chinese cauliflower, chilli chicken and crisp chicken momos. Tandoori cooking is another important part of the menu, bringing smoke and char to marinated meats, paneer and breads before they are served as small plates or larger dishes.

Curries and rice provide the more substantial side of the meal, with butter chicken, roadside-style bhuna and fragrant dum pulao among the restaurant's characteristic choices. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are integrated throughout rather than treated as a small afterthought.

The Newcastle branch also offers takeaway, bottomless brunch and group catering. The restaurant states that its food is halal and its kitchen is nut free, but ingredients supplied from elsewhere may carry trace warnings, so guests with allergies should still consult the current information and speak to staff.

Address: 87A Clayton Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 5PY, England
