Himalayan Spice Restaurant and Bar is a Nepalese and Indian restaurant at 432 Prescot Road in Liverpool’s Old Swan. The dining room and bar provide a sit-down setting for dinner, while collection and delivery make the same broad menu available at home.
Nepalese dishes give the restaurant its clearest identity. Momo dumplings, lamb taas with puffed rice, Gurkha choila and sekuwa introduce combinations of ginger, garlic, chilli and house spices, while sizzlers and Himalaya-inspired main courses continue those bold, warming flavours.
The Indian side of the menu includes bhuna, jalfrezi, dhansak, balti, korma and saag preparations. Tandoori chicken, shashlik, paneer and mixed grills add smoky cooking, and biryani, lentils, chickpeas, okra and spinach provide plenty of ways to build a varied shared meal.
