Shenanigans Irish Pub & Restaurant is an independent Irish run venue at 77 Tithebarn Street in Liverpool’s business district. A licensed pub has occupied the site since at least 1841, while the Shenanigans name dates from 1997. The room offers a friendly, animated setting for breakfast, lunch, dinner, live entertainment and sport.
Morning service includes a full Irish breakfast with rashers, sausages, egg, black pudding, beans, tomato, mushroom and toast. A vegetarian version, eggs Benedict, breakfast sandwiches and French toast broaden the choice. Serving food from early in the day makes the pub as useful for a substantial breakfast as for an evening meal.
Later menus cover Irish stew, steak and Guinness pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips, burgers and an Irish spice basket. Bar bites can be combined into sharing platters, and Sunday roasts include meat and vegetarian choices with traditional accompaniments. Guinness leads a wide selection of draught and bottled beer, cider, wine, cocktails, coffee and alcohol free drinks.
