The Charlie Hall is a Wetherspoon pub at 49 Barnabas Road in Erdington. The spacious premises were previously a bingo hall, and the pub now serves the neighbourhood from breakfast time through to late evening.
Its name remembers Birmingham born actor Charlie Hall, who appeared in dozens of films with Laurel and Hardy. That local connection gives the venue a distinct identity within the Wetherspoon estate and links a familiar high street pub to the area’s entertainment history.
The food follows the broad all day pub format, allowing guests to stop for breakfast, lunch, an evening meal or a smaller bite. Food and drinks can be ordered to the table through the Wetherspoon app, while the bar provides the familiar choice of draught beer, spirits, wine and soft drinks expected from the chain.
Television screens, Wi-Fi, step free access and a licensed outside area add practical options for different visits.
