Fàilte by Swagath is a daytime café at 24 Glasgow Road in Hurlet, beside its sister Indian restaurant. The bright, informal venue brings Scottish hospitality and Indian flavours together across breakfast, lunch, coffee and sweet dishes.
The morning menu includes a full Scottish breakfast alongside Indian breakfast specials, healthier plates and vegan choices. At lunch, traditional steak pie and fish and chips sit beside cross-cultural dishes such as a butter chicken burger and masala fish and chips.
Chicken tempura, schnitzel and other familiar café plates add further choice, while desserts and a two-course lunch option can turn a daytime stop into a fuller meal. A children’s menu and catering for private gatherings broaden the café’s role within the local community.
Speciality coffee and tea accompany the food, with cold drinks also available. Guests with allergies should check the current menu and speak to the team because Scottish and Indian recipes may include dairy, gluten, mustard and other allergens in shared preparation.
