Eagle & Ball is a restored Victorian pub at 12 Penn Street in Birmingham’s Eastside. Operated by Birmingham City University Students’ Union, it welcomes students, staff and the wider public for weekday food, drinks and events.

Pizza is a central part of the menu, made with a house tomato base and offered in full or smaller sizes. Quesadillas, street-food boxes and light bites add practical choices for lunch, dinner or a quick meal between other plans.

Vegetarian and vegan recipes are clearly represented, including plant-based pizza and dough balls. The menu’s casual, affordable format fits the social pub setting while remaining substantial enough for a complete meal.

Beer, cocktails, rewards offers and regular events give the venue a lively character, with private hire available at weekends. Guests with allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should check current ingredients and kitchen procedures with staff before ordering.
