SLIZZA PIZZA & PUB is an independent Cardiff venue at 42 Llandaff Road in Canton. It combines a neighbourhood micropub with a pizza kitchen, giving the room the easygoing feel of a craft beer bar while offering a focused food menu substantial enough for lunch or dinner.
The pizzas are made with dough that incorporates beer from Flowerhorn Brewery, linking the cooking directly to the drinks led character of the pub. Tomato, mozzarella and fior di latte provide the foundations for familiar styles, while combinations using pepperoni, beef, chicken, vegetables, herbs and chilli take the menu in more playful directions.
Vegetarian and vegan pizzas are given their own clear choices rather than being limited to a single basic option. Chips, mozzarella sticks, sauces and sweet items can be added for a larger meal, and delivery is available when diners do not want to use the tables at the pub.
Changing cask and craft beers are central to the drinks selection, with soft drinks also available alongside the food. Board games, a weekly quiz and live music sessions reinforce the sociable atmosphere, making SLIZZA as suited to a relaxed evening with friends as it is to a straightforward pizza stop.
