Angélique's Wine House occupies 18-19 St Christopher's Place in Marylebone. Inspired by the intimate bars of southern France, it combines a cosy interior with an outdoor terrace and offers a relaxed setting for an afternoon meeting, an after work drink or an unhurried evening with food.
The cellar contains more than 200 wines, with champagne and a small cocktail selection alongside it. Staff can help guests navigate different regions and styles, whether the aim is a single glass or a bottle chosen to accompany one of the sharing dishes.
Food centres on gourmet cheese and charcuterie, served as dedicated boards or combined grazing platters with bread, quince, dried fig and honey. Bruschetta, olives, nuts and artisan sourdough extend the selection for a table that wants several smaller plates to share.
Seasonal dishes give the menu more depth, with examples such as duck rillettes and toasted bread, burrata with tomatoes and artichokes, vegetable pastries and truffle Parmesan fries. The French influence, flexible sharing format and terrace make the venue particularly well suited to informal conversation over wine and a thoughtfully assembled meal.
