Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms occupies a historic building at 17 Loseby Lane in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter. Cosy ground-floor tables, an upstairs parlour and period character create a distinctive setting close to Leicester Cathedral, Highcross and the city’s historic Lanes.
Breakfast, brunch and lunch are served alongside sandwiches and other hot meals, making the tearoom useful for more than a quick drink. Traditional afternoon tea remains a particular draw, bringing savoury bites, cakes and freshly brewed tea together for an unhurried visit.
Homemade cakes and cream teas suit shorter stops between shopping or sightseeing, while the broader menu provides more substantial daytime choices. The building’s intimate rooms and garden add to the sense of occasion without making everyday visits feel formal.
