Macsorley’s is a family run pub and live music venue at 42 Jamaica Street, two minutes from Glasgow Central station. Established in 1892, it presents live entertainment on most nights while serving food through the afternoon and evening. The room is therefore as much a music venue as a place for a casual Scottish meal.
Traditional pub dishes receive a local twist across the menu. Beer battered haddock and chips, Scottish beef steak pie and macaroni cheese provide familiar main courses, while haggis, neeps and tatties offers a particularly direct taste of Scottish comfort food. Chicken dishes and burgers add alternatives for diners who want something less traditional.
Starters and snacks include soup, haggis in a crisp crumb, halloumi fries, nachos and loaded potatoes. Pizzas and plant based choices help groups with different preferences find a workable meal.
