Medbar is a Mediterranean bar and restaurant at 50 Oxford Street in Southampton. Its drink, dine and dance concept brings food, cocktails and late-night entertainment together in one lively venue, making it especially suited to social meals and celebrations.
The food takes its cues from Mediterranean seafood and grill cooking. Fresh fish, steaks and other meats form the substantial side of the menu, with preparations from the stone or grill contributing direct heat and a charred finish.
Bottomless brunch adds a daytime party format, while dinner can lead naturally into an evening at the bar. The atmosphere becomes more energetic on Friday and Saturday, when DJs and dancing continue late, so diners can choose the venue for more than a conventional sit-down meal.
