Everything Toastie is an independent café at 63 Carr Lane in Hull city centre. Open daily for brunch, lunch and afternoon visits, it turns the familiar toasted sandwich into a focused menu served in a small, cosy space opposite Primark.
Each toastie starts with fresh sourdough and a generous filling. Combinations include halloumi with rose harissa and jalapeño honey, jerk spiced chicken with mozzarella and cheddar, and seasoned beef with peppers, onions and melted cheese.
A house dipping sauce built around West African spices accompanies the sandwiches, with soup available as an alternative. Rotating specials keep the concise menu changing, while vegetarian fillings provide useful contrast to the beef and chicken choices.
Coffee, smoothies and other café drinks make the space suitable for a shorter stop as well as a full lunch. The friendly counter service, informal seating and portable format give Everything Toastie the flexibility of a takeaway without losing its relaxed café atmosphere.
