The Merchants of Spice is an Indian restaurant at 30–32 Colegate in Norwich. Set within a carefully renovated historic building, its elegant dining room offers a calm setting a short walk from the centre of the city.
The kitchen combines familiar Indian foundations with exclusive signature dishes designed for the restaurant. Authentic herbs and spices are used with carefully sourced ingredients, giving both traditional favourites and house creations a distinct sense of place.
The breadth of the menu makes it suitable for shared starters followed by individual curries, rice and breads, while vegetarian choices help mixed groups dine together. Presentation and table service give the experience a more polished tone than a casual takeaway meal.
Reservations are available for dinner, and collection offers another way to use the menu at home. Guests with allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should check the current menu and discuss ingredients and kitchen preparation with staff before ordering.
