WatchHouse Tower Bridge is the group’s flagship coffee house at 37 Shad Thames. The branch moved into the Cardamom Building in 2019 and uses original pillars and industrial textures to acknowledge the merchant history of the riverside area. Its larger room provides space for brunch as well as a carefully prepared coffee.
As a WatchHouse Brunch House, the kitchen serves breakfast classics and seasonal plates throughout the day. The food offer is substantial enough for a proper breakfast or lunch, while baked goods provide a lighter choice. Seasonal changes keep the selection responsive without losing the straightforward daytime format.
Coffee is treated as a product to explore rather than a generic accompaniment. Espresso and pour over brewing can showcase rotating origins, processes and flavour profiles, while tea and cold drinks give non-coffee drinkers alternatives. Staff can help diners choose a coffee that suits familiar or more adventurous preferences.
The combination of modern design, brunch and a historic Shad Thames setting works for solo visitors, meetings and relaxed weekend meals. The House is dog friendly and opens early every day. Guests with allergies or specific dietary needs should consult the current menu and ask the team about ingredients and preparation.
