Ichiban Fusion is a Japanese and Pan-Asian restaurant at 1 All Saints Street in the heart of Norwich. Head chef Francisco brings decades of sushi and teppanyaki experience to a menu that reaches beyond Japan to include selected Korean and Filipino ideas.
Fresh sushi covers sashimi, nigiri, hosomaki, uramaki, futomaki and hand rolled temaki cones. Platters bring several styles together, while combinations such as the Rainbow Roll, Seoul Spicy Roll and Osaka Castle use salmon, tuna, eel, avocado, prawn and soft shell crab in different textures and preparations.
Teppanyaki, tempura, curry and noodle dishes add hot food to the menu, with chicken and pork katsu among the approachable options. A freestyle omakase allows the chefs to compose a more exploratory selection around individual tastes, including vegan and vegetarian preferences when arranged with the restaurant.
