Page Common Coffee House sits inside Page8 Hotel at 8 St Martin’s Place, between Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. Designed as more than a hotel lobby, it provides a calm communal room for hotel guests, local residents and visitors exploring the West End.
Coffee is a defining focus, using a signature blend developed with London roaster Assembly Coffee and a rotating choice of single origin beans for hand brewing. Tea comes from another London specialist, giving non coffee drinkers a similarly considered selection.
A curated bakery counter accompanies the drinks, while daytime food extends the cafe into breakfast and lunch. Hot and cold dishes offer more substance than pastry alone, and careful testing of each item reflects the same attention given to the coffee programme.
Travel books can be borrowed while guests sit, reinforcing the hotel’s urban explorer theme without making the cafe exclusive to residents. Page Common is best for a thoughtful coffee, breakfast or light meal in a central but relatively peaceful setting.

Tea
English Breakfast
English Breakfast blend was designed for those tea drinkers needing a bit more punch in the morning. Taking its lead from the distinctive rich body of Kenyan black tea, and combining it with loyal breakfast favourites Assam tea and Ceylon tea, this whole leaf black tea brews a robust, golden cup – full in body and wonderful with a dash of milk.
Earl Grey
Earl Grey tea strike the perfect balance between body and aroma, making it a deliciously fragrant cup for any time of day. Delicious with or without milk, or even with a slice of lemon.
Sencha Green
Unlike most Senchas which are grown in full sun, this particular example is shaded for 18 days before plucking, making it more akin to a Gyokuro – a style of steamed green tea widely considered to be Japan’s finest. This unique shading process brings out the tea’s rich, characteristic umami flavour, as well as more sweetness. The dark, silky leaves produce a vibrant green cup with a fresh, spring-like aroma and smooth, delicately sweet finish. Reinfuse up to 3 times.
Lemongrass
Loose leaf Lemongrass tea zings with a sweet, lemony freshness that lingers long after drinking. This herbal tea brews a bright yellow, lemony cup – perfect as a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up.
Chamomile
Caffeine-free, award-winning Chamomile tea produce a fresh, sweet cup with hints of apple and honey. Much loved for its calming and sleep-promoting effects, the whole, yellow-gold blossoms are the perfect just-before-bed tea.
Hibiscus
Loose leaf Hibiscus tea produces a refreshingly tart, bright, ruby-red infusion. Caffeine-free and bursting with blackcurrant, this herbal tea is also full of vitamin C. We love the zing, but stir in a dash of honey for added sweetness.
