Dishoom Manchester Menu

Dishoom Manchester brings the spirit of Bombay’s old Irani cafés to a former Freemasons’ Hall on Bridge Street. The historic setting is woven into the restaurant’s own story, giving the large city centre space a distinctive character. It operates as an all day café, moving from breakfast and chai through lunch, dinner and late evening drinks.

The menu ranges across Bombay comfort food, street snacks, grills and dishes for sharing. Small plates include vegetable samosas, okra fries, pau bhaji and Dishoom House Chaat, while the grill produces chicken tikka, lamb chops, masala prawns and gently spiced paneer. House Black Daal, slow cooked for depth, remains one of the restaurant’s signatures alongside rich curries and breads baked to order.

Manchester also has a venue specific Nalli Nihari Biryani, layering lamb shank, rice and caramelised onions beneath a pastry covering with raita and nihari gravy. Other rice dishes include Chicken Berry Britannia and an Awadhi jackfruit biryani. Vegetarian choices are spread throughout the menu, and separate vegan and gluten free selections make it easier for mixed groups to plan a meal.

Breakfast brings its own identity through naan rolls, Parsi omelettes and larger plates, while afternoons can be as simple as bun maska with hot chai. The restaurant keeps much of its space available for walk in guests but also accepts reservations, including group bookings. Its flexible service and broad menu suit a quick breakfast, a shared supper, cocktails or a larger celebration.

Address: 32 Bridge Street, Manchester M3 3BT, United Kingdom
