Pizza Punks Glasgow is a lively St Vincent Street restaurant built around handmade sourdough pizza and a deliberately irreverent atmosphere. The dough is double fermented for at least 72 hours, giving each base time to develop flavour and a light, chewy texture. Diners can eat in, collect or order delivery from the city centre kitchen.
Classic pizzas begin with combinations such as Margherita, double pepperoni and prosciutto with wild mushroom. More elaborate creations bring in birria beef, salt and chilli chicken, buffalo sauce, chipotle pork or a cacio e pepe inspired white base. Six inch pizzettas make smaller appetites and lunch visits easy to accommodate.
The create your own format is central to the restaurant. Guests choose a sourdough or gluten free base, sauce, cheese and as many toppings as they want for a fixed pizza price. Vegan mozzarella, plant based pepperoni, meatballs and nduja allow vegan diners to use the same flexible format rather than select from a single token option.
Wood fired wings, salads, garlic sourdough and macaroni cheese provide useful starters or sides, while sweet pizza and ice cream offer an indulgent finish. Cocktails, beer, cider and wine reinforce the bar-like energy of the room.
