Demartino is a family run Italian restaurant on Great Portland Street that has served Fitzrovia for more than thirty years. Its relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere draws on the welcoming style of a New York Italian restaurant while keeping regional Italian cooking at the centre of the experience.

The kitchen combines classic recipes with contemporary dishes and weekly specials. Fresh ingredients are used across pasta, risotto, fish and meat, allowing the menu to move from simple Italian favourites to more substantial plates prepared for lunch and dinner.

Sharing starters can include Italian cured meats, roasted vegetables, burrata, calamari and arancini. Pasta ranges from filled tortelloni and ravioli to gnocchi and familiar long shapes, while grilled fish, chicken, veal and steak provide alternatives to the pasta selection.

Homemade tiramisu, panna cotta, ice cream and changing desserts complete the meal, supported by a hand selected range of Italian wine. A private dining room downstairs can accommodate celebrations and workplace gatherings while the main room retains its comfortable local character.
