Ambala Restaurant is a Pakistani and Indian restaurant at 11 Forth Street in Glasgow. Open from lunchtime into the evening, it combines table service with a wide ranging menu designed for families, groups and casual meals.
Grilled starters, kebabs, peri peri chicken and sizzling meat dishes provide several ways into the menu. Halwa poori offers a more traditional combination, while appetisers and sides make it easy for a table to share before the main course.
Curries, biryani, vegetarian dishes, rice and fresh bread form the core of the South Asian selection. Steaks, burgers and pizza sit alongside those classics, giving mixed groups an unusually broad choice under one roof.
Lassi, mocktails, milkshakes and hot drinks lead into cookie dough, ice cream and desi desserts for anyone extending the meal. Guests with allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should discuss current ingredients and preparation methods with staff before ordering.
