Bandits Burgers is a family-run burger restaurant at 6 Manderston Street in Leith. Born as a dark kitchen during lockdown, the business now welcomes customers to dine in as well as ordering food to take away.
Beef and fried chicken burgers form the heart of the menu, with toppings that range from pickles and house sauce to brisket, blue cheese, chorizo and chilli. The combinations lean into rich, bold comfort food rather than restrained portions.
Wings and chicken ribs come with buffalo, barbecue, sriracha and sweet chilli sauces. Dirty fries can be loaded with beef chilli, pulled brisket, cheese or plant based toppings, making them a side or a substantial dish in their own right.
