Buck’s Bar Hanover Street is a lively chicken restaurant and bar at 90 Hanover Street in central Edinburgh. Opened in late 2023, it brings the group’s rock and roll identity to a location close to George Street, Princes Street and Waverley station.
Buttermilk fried chicken is the main attraction, appearing in burgers, wings and generous plates. Nashville hot seasoning provides a fiery option, while different sauces, fries and slaw let diners adjust the meal to their own taste.
Vegetarian and vegan burgers broaden the menu, and waffles, macaroni cheese and other comfort food sides reinforce its indulgent American influence. A weekday express lunch offers a more compact way to try the chicken during the day.
Cocktails, beer and bourbon support the food, with live music adding to the atmosphere on Saturdays. The extended evening hours and informal service make the venue particularly well suited to groups beginning or continuing a night out in Edinburgh.
