Bar Soba is an Asian street food restaurant and cocktail bar at 11 Mitchell Lane in Glasgow. Established in 1999, it combines a colourful city-centre dining room with the energy of a late-night bar and a long association with DJs and music.
The food takes inspiration from night markets across Southeast Asia. Bao buns, katsu curries, noodle dishes and other sharing plates bring together sweet, sour, salty and spicy flavours. Choices such as pulled pork bao, cauliflower katsu curry and dragon prawn noodles show the menu’s broad approach.
Diners can order a single bowl or create a longer meal from small plates and sides. Meat-free dishes are integrated into the main selection, giving mixed groups more flexibility. The kitchen stays open across lunch and evening service on operating days.
Creative cocktails are central to the experience, and boozy brunch packages combine food and drinks for a more social visit. DJ sets and later weekend hours shift the atmosphere as evening develops.
