Bishops Finger is a traditional pub at 9–10 West Smithfield, close to the historic market. The single bar, wooden furnishings and upstairs function and dining room give it the character of a classic City pub, with a few outdoor tables available at the front.
Freshly prepared pub food is served at lunch and dinner on weekdays, drawing on the venue’s position beside Smithfield Market and offering meat led dishes alongside familiar British favourites. Daily specials add variety for regular customers and reflect what is available from the kitchen.
The bar pours Shepherd Neame ales, including the beer from which the pub takes its name, together with changing cask choices, lager, wine and spirits. This balance of substantial food and well kept beer makes it suitable for a quick lunch, an after work drink or a longer group meal.
The pub opens Monday to Friday and is closed at weekends, with a private function room available upstairs for parties and other gatherings. Guests with allergies or dietary requirements should ask staff for the current menu information before ordering.
