Buongiorno Bistro Italiano is a family run Italian restaurant and cafe at 1012 Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow. Part of the Shawlands neighbourhood since 1984, it brings together the easy pace of a daytime cafe with the fuller choice expected from an Italian bistro.
Pizza and pasta form the core of the menu, giving diners a choice between freshly cooked dough, tomato and cheese combinations and a range of sauces served with pasta. Familiar Italian flavours keep the selection approachable for both a quick meal and a relaxed dinner.
Starters, salads and plated main dishes allow a table to build a longer meal or accommodate different appetites. The cafe side of the business also makes it a useful stop for coffee and a lighter bite during the day.
