Dom’s Place is a family run Turkish restaurant at 199 Lower Clapton Road. Established in 1974, it has the easygoing feel of a neighbourhood institution while bringing a contemporary touch to familiar recipes and service.
Wraps are a central part of the menu, filled with freshly prepared meat or vegetables and layered with salads and sauces. Their portable format suits a quick lunch, but the care in the ingredients gives them more character than ordinary fast food.
Plates and sides allow diners to slow the meal down or share several flavours around the table. Fresh vegetables, herbs and well seasoned fillings keep the cooking balanced, with choices available for different appetites and dietary preferences.
Local beer, wine and good coffee reinforce the independent neighbourhood character. Dom’s Place is a natural choice for an informal Clapton meal where Turkish flavour, family hospitality and straightforward fresh cooking matter more than ceremony.
