Munch Belfast is a family-run restaurant at 19-21 Church Lane in the city centre. Formerly known as The Windmill, it has traded since 1987 and built its reputation around friendly service, straightforward local food and a cosy setting for breakfast and lunch.
All-day breakfasts are a speciality, with several sizes of Ulster fry as well as a full English breakfast, scrambled or poached eggs and a vegetarian fry. The kitchen grills its breakfast ingredients rather than frying them and highlights fresh local produce across the menu.
Lunch ranges from homemade soup and stew to sandwiches, toasties, paninis, baked potatoes, salads and chicken wraps. Burgers, kebabs, chicken dishes and chips add heartier choices, while a dedicated children’s selection makes the restaurant practical for families.
