Navarasa Indian Street Kitchen is an Indian restaurant at 548 Gorgie Road in Edinburgh. Its wide ranging menu places South Indian street food and regional specialities alongside familiar curries, offering both seated meals and food for collection or delivery.
Dosas form a distinctive part of the selection, joined by chaats, small plates and snacks such as onion pakoda. Malabar parotta brings the flaky, layered bread of South India to the table, ready to pair with vegetable or meat curries and the restaurant’s chutneys and sambar.
House biryanis, tandoori skewers and traditional curries provide more substantial choices, while Indo-Chinese dishes add another strand to the menu. Vegetarian curries receive their own section rather than appearing only as side dishes, helping mixed groups build a balanced shared meal.
Table bookings are available and the restaurant serves lunch and dinner on most days, with an afternoon break between services. House drinks and special combinations support a quick visit, while the breadth of dosas, breads, rice dishes and curries rewards a longer meal across several courses.
