The Cambria is a neighbourhood pub at 40 Kemerton Road in Camberwell. Reopened after a major restoration, it combines a characterful indoor bar with a terrace and garden, creating space for casual drinks, meals and community events.
British pub classics form the foundation of the food offer, with burgers and larger mains providing familiar, satisfying choices. Internationally influenced small plates encourage sharing and give the kitchen room to use spices and techniques beyond the standard pub repertoire.
Steaks from the grill bring a more substantial option, while vegetarian dishes help mixed groups order comfortably. Sunday roasts remain an important weekly feature, serving meat or plant based choices with potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
Beer from local and established breweries sits alongside wine, spirits and soft drinks. The Cambria is best suited to diners looking for hearty food in a revived backstreet pub where the garden and relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere are as important as the menu.
