The Spylaw is a family run pub and dining venue at 27 Spylaw Street in historic Colinton village. Close to Colinton Dell, it offers a comfortable stop for local residents, walkers and visitors, with a relaxed dining area and outdoor garden.
Food is prepared fresh and ranges from light bar snacks to full three course meals, with frequently changing specials adding variety. Brunch is served in the morning before the main menu begins, so the pub can accommodate both daytime and evening dining.
Sunday service centres on roasts such as slow cooked Scottish beef, served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and jus. A vegetarian roulade and children's portions allow families and mixed groups to join the same Sunday meal.
Real ale and rotating cask beer are joined by more than forty malt whiskies and a broad wine selection. The pub is dog friendly with a separate dog free section available, while guests with allergies should speak to staff about the current dishes and shared preparation.
