HongFu Noodle Bar is a Chinese restaurant at 3–7 Waterloo Place in central Edinburgh. Its dining room preserves the character of a historic Scottish building while using details inspired by 1930s Shanghai.
The kitchen draws on Dongbei, Sichuan and Cantonese traditions, giving the menu a wider regional range than its noodle bar name might suggest. Handmade noodles and dumplings remain central choices and demonstrate the restaurant’s emphasis on preparation from scratch.
Wok cooked pork, braised beef, tofu and seafood dishes add varied flavours and textures. Rice, noodle soups and vegetarian choices let diners build either a simple individual meal or a larger spread to share.
