China Sea Restaurant Menu

China Sea Restaurant is a long established Cantonese restaurant at 12 Renfield Street in Glasgow city centre. Open for more than 50 years and only a short walk from Central Station, it can also be entered from 54 Gordon Street and has welcomed several generations of diners.

The dining room leans into traditional Chinese decor, with cosy booths and a large suspended dragon providing its best known visual feature. Experienced table service and food cooked to order make it suitable for a quick city lunch as well as a complete evening meal with family or friends.

The wide menu covers dim sum, soup and appetisers before moving through poultry, beef, pork, duck, seafood and vegetarian cooking. Cantonese style chicken, roast duck with plum or orange sauce, king prawns, black bean dishes, sweet and sour recipes and satay sit alongside chow mein and rice.

Lunch and pre-theatre menus offer a more concise route through the selection, while the full menu includes curry, Thai style and a small range of non-Chinese dishes.
