Toulous Suburb is a longstanding cafe at the edge of Northway Gardens in Hampstead Garden Suburb. The business began in 1995 by transforming a former park keeper's hut, giving the dining room and its green surroundings a distinctive place in the local community.
Fresh, quality and locally sourced ingredients guide the breakfast and lunch menus. Morning dishes include cafe staples built around eggs and toasted bread, while later choices move towards salads, burgers and more substantial daytime plates.
Eggs Benedict and the restaurant's frequently served chicken Caesar reflect the balance between familiar breakfast cooking and composed lunch dishes. Salads and vegetable led choices give lighter appetites options alongside chicken burgers and other filling meals.
The Northway setting encourages a relaxed daytime visit, whether for coffee, breakfast or lunch with neighbours and friends.
