Sticky Mango Tower Bridge is chef Peter Lloyd's flagship restaurant at 36C Shad Thames, beside the River Thames. Opened in 2023, it pairs modern South East Asian cooking with direct views of Tower Bridge, colourful interiors and a waterside setting. The menu draws on flavours from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and neighbouring regions, with dishes designed to work individually or as a shared meal.
Small plates include Thai green mango salad with papaya, charred beans and cashews, crispy salmon sashimi on rice, chicken and shrimp nam rolls and Vietnamese style seared scallops. Malaysian chicken curry puffs, black pepper prawns, crispy baby squid and chicken satay add further choices. Avocado gado gado and seasoned edamame make it easy to begin with several contrasting vegetarian dishes.
Main courses range from Indonesian style sea bass grilled in banana leaf to Hanoi style salmon with rice noodles, dill and peanuts. Diners can also choose miso glazed black cod, king prawn pad Thai, massaman lamb shank, Mamak barbecue chicken or pork belly with gochujang and bao. Duck fried rice, mapo tofu and Thai spiced cauliflower broaden the menu for groups with different tastes.
Set and tasting menus offer a guided route through the kitchen, while weekend brunch reworks regional flavours for daytime dining. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten conscious menus are available, and the restaurant states that its chicken dishes are halal. Riverside tables, private dining rooms and group sharing options make Sticky Mango suitable for relaxed meals, celebrations and larger occasions with a memorable Tower Bridge backdrop.
