Honest Burgers Clapham is a relaxed burger restaurant at 75 Venn Street, a short walk from Clapham Common station. It serves lunch and dinner every day, welcoming bookings and walk-ins to its indoor tables as well as outdoor seating on Venn Street.
The house beef burgers use fresh British beef that is chopped rather than conventionally minced, a method intended to retain a steak like texture while staying tender. Every burger arrives with the restaurant’s handmade rosemary salted chips, keeping the central proposition focused and consistent.
Alongside the beef choices are fried chicken, vegetarian and plant based burgers, with seasonal specials extending the range. The Clapham local burger adds smoked bacon, raclette, truffle mayonnaise, shoestring fries, rocket and pickles, and can be ordered with different patty styles.
Beer, wine and other drinks make the restaurant suitable for an informal evening as well as a quick meal. The dog friendly policy, outdoor tables and proximity to the Common give this branch a strong neighbourhood feel, while click and collect and delivery cover occasions when eating in is less convenient.
