Symonds at Redwood is a restaurant, bar and bistro within Audley Redwood on Beggar Bush Lane in Failand, a short drive from Clifton. The contemporary dining rooms combine English character with views across landscaped gardens, while a terrace and private dining room provide options for relaxed meals and organised occasions.
The kitchen builds its all day menu around fresh seasonal ingredients and modern British cooking with continental touches. Small plates may pair smoked fish, vegetables, farmhouse terrine or a daily soup with carefully chosen accompaniments, giving diners a choice between a light opening course and a fuller shared start.
Main courses balance recognisable favourites with dishes shaped by the season. Fish and chips and grill choices sit alongside seafood, pasta and vegetable led plates, while side dishes of seasonal greens, salads and potatoes allow guests to complete the meal to their preference.
Afternoon tea brings together sandwiches, warm scones, cakes and a selection of teas, and Sunday lunch centres on roasts with traditional accompaniments. Coffee, cake and cocktails are also available through the week, making Symonds suitable for anything from a daytime catch up to a special meal or private celebration.
