Portland Restaurant has served Great Portland Street since 2015, presenting contemporary fine dining in an understated setting without relying on formal tablecloths or ceremonial service. The restaurant earned a Michelin star during its first year and has retained that recognition while continuing to develop its cooking and hospitality.
The kitchen focuses on carefully sourced produce prepared with precision and accomplished technique. Seasonal changes shape the dishes, allowing ingredients to lead each plate while the concise structure of the menu keeps the experience clear and considered.
Diners can choose between an à la carte selection and a tasting menu. The tasting experience moves from welcome snacks through four savoury courses, dessert and petits fours, while vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free alternatives are available across both formats.
Wine carries equal importance alongside the food, with an evolving list that combines accessible bottles, notable producers and small allocations of rarer wines. A private dining room extends the same food and service to intimate groups, while regular lunch and dinner service runs from Tuesday to Saturday.
