BIFE City of London is an independent Argentine grill on Middlesex Street, positioned between Liverpool Street, Aldgate and Spitalfields. The family run restaurant celebrates the culture of the Argentine asado through generous meat dishes, traditional accompaniments and an informal dining atmosphere.
Steak cuts include ribeye, sirloin, fillet, rump, skirt and churrasco, cooked to order and served with a side and chimichurri. Diners can choose familiar fries and salads or richer accompaniments such as creamed spinach and mashed potatoes.
Traditional empanadas are available with fillings including beef, chicken, ham and cheese, spinach and seasonal combinations. Argentine chorizo, morcilla, provolone and calamari provide further starters, while charcoal grill boxes combine several meats and sausages for two or more people to share.
Argentine wines naturally complement the grill, with cocktails, beer and alcohol free drinks also available. Dulce de leche desserts provide a fitting finish, while the restaurant’s deli selection extends its Argentine identity through homemade sauces, pastries and empanadas.
