Little Georgia Hackney is an independent neighbourhood restaurant on Goldsmiths Row that shares the food and hospitality of Georgia with East London. The intimate room has a relaxed vintage character, making it well suited to casual dinners, small gatherings and weekend meals close to Broadway Market.

Freshly baked breads are a defining part of the menu, from khachapuri filled with cheese to Adjaruli khachapuri shaped like a boat and finished with egg and butter. Lobiani offers a seasoned bean filling, while aubergine rolls with walnut paste, salads and mixed meze encourage the table to share several opening dishes.

Khinkali dumplings, chicken in a rich garlic sauce, spiced beef stew and poussin with plum sauce bring comforting depth to the main courses. Bean dishes, aubergine ragout and other vegetable recipes provide substantial vegetarian and vegan choices rooted in Georgian herbs, nuts and spices.

The Hackney restaurant welcomes guests to bring their own wine for a corkage charge, while Georgian lemonade, tea and coffee are also available. Homemade cakes and a warm style of service round out a meal that introduces both familiar favourites and less widely known dishes from Georgia.

Address: 87 Goldsmiths Row, Hackney, London E2 8QR, United Kingdom
