Callooh Callay Shoreditch is an award winning cocktail bar on Rivington Street that has helped shape the neighbourhood’s drinks scene since 2008. Inspired by the playful world of Lewis Carroll, it combines irreverent design, welcoming service and a sense of discovery within a collection of secluded spaces.

Hidden nooks and distinctive rooms give each visit its own atmosphere, whether guests settle at the main bar or find a more intimate corner. The whimsical surroundings support serious drinks without becoming formal, making the venue suitable for an early evening cocktail, a late night gathering or a special celebration.

A new themed menu arrives each year and gives the bar team a fresh framework for flavour and presentation. The current concept explores pairings through cocktail families such as the Martini, Sour and Spritz, using combinations including peach with basil and coriander with mint to guide guests through the selection.

Simple food choices such as guacamole with tortilla chips, hummus with pitta, Caprese salad, olives, smoked nuts and crisp rice crackers provide useful accompaniments to the drinks. The bar opens into the early hours throughout the week, allowing the experience to move naturally from relaxed conversation into a lively Shoreditch night.
