Cité Aldgate is Cococure’s restaurant, bar and late lounge at 5 Minories in London. The venue begins with dinner before shifting into a late-night setting led by Afrobeats, Amapiano and DJs, making it a natural choice for celebrations and evenings that continue after the meal.
The kitchen centres West African and Afro-Caribbean flavours, with signature beef suya grilled over an open flame in a seasoned spice blend. Chicken suya, jerk preparations, lamb chops and seafood extend the fire-grill selection.
Jollof rice, fried plantain, mac and cheese, coleslaw and seasoned fries provide the principal sides. Loaded fries, wings and smaller plates suit sharing, while group menus place platters in the centre of the table for larger parties.
Cocktails and bottle service are integral to the nightlife side of the venue, and brunch events add another way to experience the food and music. Nuts and other allergens are handled in the kitchen, so guests should tell their server about dietary needs and ask about cross-contact before ordering.
