Fired Dough Pizzas is a pizzeria at 151–153 Lothian Road in central Edinburgh. Its Neapolitan style dough is made by hand and left to prove for 24 to 48 hours, producing the light, soft base that defines the restaurant’s pizzas.
The pizza list begins with marinara and margherita before moving through roasted vegetables, spicy salami, nduja, sausage, prosciutto, burrata and truffle. Both tomato based and creamier white combinations allow diners to choose between restrained classics and richer recipes.
Antipasti include bruschetta, salads, fried mozzarella and seafood, while garlic bread, fries and dips can be added for sharing. Vegetarian pizzas are part of the main range, and a children’s menu gives families smaller meal options.
