Frederiks is a bar, restaurant and live music venue at 32 Hope Street in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter. It has been part of the neighbourhood for more than a decade and is the home of Hope Street Jazz. The welcoming room is designed for informal dining before the music or a longer social evening.
Food is easy to share, with flavourful small plates, stone baked pizzas and elevated bar snacks at the centre of the main menu. Sides and desserts allow a table to build a complete meal without following a formal course structure. The main selection runs from Tuesday to Saturday and suits dates, casual catch ups and pre-show dining.
Sunday brings Fred’s Roast, offering a more traditional weekend meal across the afternoon and early evening. The kitchen provides a range of choices within that service, so mixed groups can dine together. Current menus and specials can change, and diners should check availability when planning around a particular dish.
Cocktails are a major part of the bar, supported by beer, wine and alcohol free choices. Free jazz events feature emerging and established musicians during the week, with resident performers continuing the programme on Friday.
