Meraki Fitzrovia is a modern Greek restaurant at 80–82 Great Titchfield Street. Opened in 2017, it presents the warmth of Greek hospitality through a bright main dining room, counter seats, a terrace and more intimate lower floor spaces. The kitchen draws ingredients and ideas from across Greece, including Santorini tomatoes, Mesologgi bottarga and Cretan dairy produce.
Spreads and mezze establish the sharing style of the menu. Smoked aubergine, taramasalata, Greek hummus, tzatziki and spicy feta can be paired with crisp olive oil pita, while salads combine tomatoes, capers, olives and regional cheeses. Grilled octopus, baby squid, halloumi, chicken souvlaki, pork souvlaki and lamb kebabs introduce the charcoal and seafood cooking.
From the sea come grilled king prawns, red mullet and whole sea bass, including a salt crusted fish designed for two. Land dishes range from herb coated rack of lamb and charcoal grilled baby chicken to aged ribeye, slow cooked lamb kleftiko and ox cheek. Baked orzo, leek rice with smoked cheese and tagliatelle with lamb ragù add substantial grain and pasta choices.
Desserts continue the Greek theme with rolled baklava, yoghurt ice cream, baked galotyri cheesecake and bougatsa filled with semolina custard. Greek wines, cocktails using ingredients such as mastiha and tsipouro, and a separate bar support the restaurant's lively evening atmosphere. Set menus and sharing platters allow groups to experience a broad cross section of the kitchen.
