Mirella is a contemporary Italian restaurant at 839 High Road Leytonstone. The same operator recently renamed the former Eat My Pizza dining room, retaining its role as a spacious neighbourhood restaurant while giving the food and identity a broader Italian focus.
Pizza remains central, ranging from familiar classics to combinations built around ingredients such as nduja, mushrooms and fresh cheese. The menu now reaches well beyond pizza through small plates including calamari, baked aubergine, burrata, mussels and veal meatballs.
Pasta and larger dishes provide substantial alternatives, with tagliatelle Bolognese, carbonara, seafood spaghetti, chicken Milanese and grilled chicken among the choices. Vegetable plates and salads help groups create a balanced spread rather than relying entirely on dough and pasta.
Tiramisu and other Italian inspired desserts complete the meal, while cocktails and a relaxed all-day schedule make the restaurant useful from brunch through dinner. Collection and delivery remain available, but the high-ceilinged former bank building is designed to support a fuller sit-down experience.
