Mr Falafel Shepherd’s Bush is a compact Palestinian falafel bar at the entrance to New Shepherd’s Bush Market. The setting suits the food perfectly, placing a quick and focused kitchen within one of west London’s most diverse shopping areas. Guests can eat at the small venue, take their order away or arrange delivery, making it useful for market visitors, commuters and local residents. Friendly service and a clear specialism give the restaurant an identity that feels personal despite the fast pace of the surrounding neighbourhood.
Falafel is prepared fresh and forms the centre of every meal. Chickpeas, herbs and seasoning create a crisp exterior and a soft, fragrant middle, bringing texture and depth to a food that is simple only in appearance. The cooking draws inspiration from the everyday breakfast and dining tables of the Levant, where fresh vegetables, pickles, sauces and warm bread combine with falafel to create a complete and satisfying meal. Vegetarian cooking is fundamental to the concept, and most of the selection is also suitable for vegan diners.
Wraps are available in different sizes, allowing guests to choose between a lighter bite and a more substantial lunch. Wholemeal bread is offered for selected sizes, while combinations of hummus, salads, pickles and sauces give each wrap its own balance of creaminess, acidity, freshness and spice. Cold drinks complete the concise offering without distracting from the main attraction. Knowledgeable staff can explain the combinations and help newcomers choose a wrap that matches their preferred flavours and appetite.
The market location reinforces the restaurant’s commitment to fresh ingredients, with produce sourced daily from local shops and traders. Shepherd’s Bush Market station is immediately beside the venue, while the wider transport connections and shops of the area are only a short walk away. Mr Falafel succeeds through focus rather than an oversized menu, taking one much loved Palestinian food and preparing it with consistency, speed and care. The result is an approachable neighbourhood destination built around freshness and unmistakable Levantine flavour.
