Naughty Piglets is a small neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar at 28 Brixton Water Lane in South London. Margaux Aubry opened it in 2015, and the intimate room has evolved into a home for guest chefs whose residencies give regular diners a different culinary perspective every few weeks.
Each chef shapes a temporary dinner menu, so the cooking can travel between regions and techniques rather than staying within one fixed cuisine. Sharing plates and a close view of the kitchen encourage guests to explore the residency as a complete experience rather than return for one permanent signature dish.
Daytime service retains an in house favourite in the form of jambon beurre sandwiches, available to eat in or take away on selected days. Saturday lunch offers the full menu, while a private dining cellar provides space for a small group away from the main restaurant.
Every residency is accompanied by its own wine selection, continuing the venue’s established interest in characterful bottles and relaxed hospitality. Because the chef and menu change frequently, diners with allergies or dietary requirements should contact the restaurant before booking to confirm that the current residency can accommodate them.
