New East House is a family run Chinese restaurant at 124 Whitecross Street, close to the Barbican and Whitecross Street Market. Its casual dining room serves lunch and dinner every day, with collection and delivery offered alongside the sit down service.

The extensive menu draws on Cantonese, Sichuan and wider Chinese cooking. Dumplings, sesame prawn toast, spare ribs and aromatic duck lead into stir fries, curries, sweet and sour dishes, black bean sauces, noodles and rice plates.
