Rabbit Hole Cafe Holloway is an all day halal café at 411A Holloway Road. Its colourful, welcoming dining room serves the neighbourhood from breakfast through dinner, combining familiar British café food with Mediterranean and international touches. The long opening hours make it suitable for morning coffee, a leisurely brunch, a family meal or an early evening plate.
Breakfast ranges from eggs, turkey rashers, beef sausages, mushrooms, beans and hash browns to larger combinations such as the Mad Hatter. Brunch brings shakshuka, eggs Florentine, eggs royal and buttermilk pancakes, while vegetarian and vegan breakfasts use vegetable sausages, spinach, falafel and hummus. Fresh orange juice, smoothies, espresso coffee, matcha and chai provide plenty of daytime drinks.
Halal Sunday roasts are a speciality, with roast chicken or slow cooked lamb served alongside vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and a choice of roast or mashed potatoes.
