Curry Hut Cardiff Menu

Curry Hut Cardiff is a Sri Lankan and South Indian restaurant at 96 Salisbury Road in Cathays. Its straightforward cafe style setting supports dine-in, collection and delivery, with a large menu that reaches well beyond the familiar choices of a conventional British curry house.

Short eats and starters include vadai, samosas, vegetable or meat rolls, fish cutlets, paneer 65 and cauliflower 65. Dosa and idli sit alongside rotti, string hoppers and pittu, giving diners several different breads and starches with which to explore the kitchen’s curries and sambols.

Ceylon chicken, mutton, fish, prawn, crab and vegetable curries provide a broad main selection. Koththu combines chopped rotti with vegetables, egg, meat or seafood, while devilled dishes, biryani, fried rice and noodles add options for diners who want a drier, stir fried style of meal.

Vegetarian choices include lentil, chickpea, aubergine, jackfruit, potato and spinach curries, making it practical to assemble a varied meat free table. Spice levels and ingredients differ across the menu, so guests with allergies or dietary requirements should ask staff about the current recipes and shared kitchen before ordering.
